Fees depend on how you take payment
On 9 October 2026 Shopify Basic cost $39 a month billed monthly or $29 a month paid yearly. Grow was $105 or $79, and Advanced $399 or $299. Shopify Plus starts at $2,300 a month and isn't listed here. New stores could try Shopify for 3 days free, then pay $1 a month for 3 months.
If you use a payment provider other than Shopify Payments, Shopify adds its own fee on each sale: 2% on Basic, 1% on Grow and 0.6% on Advanced. For a shop doing $5,000 a month in sales, 2% is $100 a month, more than the plan itself.
