The 50% discount lasts three months
On 10 October 2026 QuickBooks Online listed Simple Start at $38 a month, Essentials at $85, Plus at $140 and Advanced at $340. New customers on the monthly plan could take 50% off for the first 3 months, which brings those to $19, $42.50, $70 and $170, or choose a 30-day free trial instead. Intuit's offer terms say the two offers can't be combined, and after the discount period you pay the then-current monthly price.
There is also a free plan, but it is narrow: 1 user, 2 invoices per month, 1 bank connection and no accountant access, and the page says mobile app access and third-party integrations aren't available on it. User counts climb with each tier, from 1 on Simple Start to 3 on Essentials, 5 on Plus and 25 on Advanced.
